The nationwide strike is over. The people of Panama have the ears of their leaders and both sides are working towards some reasonable solutions. See post below for more info. I am still in Panama and feeling contenta y tranquila.

My Country
The Republic of Panama is slightly smaller than the state of South Carolina and is located between Costa Rica and Columbia. The temperature is between 70° and 90° year-round. The people are a diverse mix of African, European, Indigenous, and Mestizo. Spanish is the national language but English, Guari-Guari (combination of Spanish/English/French) and Indigenous languages are also spoken.
